Treo 650 with '04 530i problem

OK, I have read through all the threads, and I have searched everywhere. I'm having a problem that I haven't seen yet.

Car: 2004 530i
Treo 650: Firmware = 1.13a-SPNT
Cell Provider: SPRINT

It pairs just fine, uploads the address book, dials the phone, receives calls, mutes the radio, and I can hear everyone, etc ...

... but nobody can hear me. It is like some funky mute thing that I can't find on either device. The phone is not muted.

... oh, and the car microphone works just fine for voice recognition, so I'm assuming it is not the problem.

Any ideas?

get it checked by the dealer. I have a TREO 650 as well. Works just fine.

Thank you for that information about there being two different microphones.

I went into the dealer and paired up my Treo 650 with an '06 530 they had on the lot ... worked flawlessly. Now they won't argue with me when I bring it in tomorrow.

Knowing that the microphone for the voice recognition is different than the bluetooth mic give me hope that it might be a simple fix.
