 Color Choice - Help?

Alright, I've got a deposit on two 550i's w/sport package identically equipped.

One is titanium silver with black interior and the other is alpine white with black interior.

I used to have a silver Benz, so I wanted to try something different like white. I'm into it, but my wife keeps telling me that it's feminine. I don't agree . . .but what's the consensus out there . . .?

Do you like the whie, or are you just wanting a change? Titanium silver is a great color, (I have a Mercedes now that is silver too), and maybe switching to a BMW might be enough change. White is a little boring, not sure about feminine. I'm going for a radical change with the 530xiT I'm ordering -- mystic blue.

I saw a beautiful 525xi in white at the dealership a couple of days a go. I thought it looked fantastic, and I am not at all feminine...an understatement. Having said that, I ordered boring Titanium gray. My last several cars have been Seal Gray, Charcoal, Diamond Silver, and now gray again. That certainly is a rut. I applaud your attempt to climb out!

The car looks great in white. Very clean and upscale. For interior I'd prefer beige, though black is certainly best at hiding dirt. The Auburn interior is also very nice. If you chose a black interior the anthracite trim looks very good with it, and imho better and more logical than the brown wood trim. Kudos for considering a non-grey exterior.

White being feminine? From a male point of view, I say no. It is (in my opinion) a nice clean care for a man, say in his 50's. From a female point of view (and I asked my girl) - yes, it's feminine. I ordered the silver grey.

The white looks great on the five....black interior with brown wood - there are alot of 5's like that around- If you want something a little different with black try the anthracite. I have titanium grey, grey and anthracite wood and nothing but compliments.

If I were getting white I would get the auburn with the wood..good luck
