how are people ordering 07's this early in the year? i thought model year changes in the fall, like sept-oct.

I ordered my 530xi on 2/24/2006 and yesterday the saleswoman emailed me that my car "was born" on 3/7/2006! It is built now I have the wait for shipment.
As she told me when I ordered it, she has a better "view" into the system that I can via the BMW Owners site and production number.

I've got a '07 530xiT on order, not yet scheduled for production according to the web site. It was officially ordered as of Tuesday of this week. I can't wait until it's scheduled for production!
