| | Reply » Bmw Group Donates $1 Million | saw it on their website, they are also matching any employee who donates money, so if an employee donates 100 dollars BMW will match it, i like BMW.
| | Reply » Bmw Group Donates $1 Million | Quote: | Has Big Oil Donated Anything Yet? | Among the many countries that pledged financial help, the top donors are OPEC countries (in the hundreds of millions of dollars). At the bottom of the list is Georgia (I think), with a pledge of US$6,000.

so if you make $100,000/yr, maybe you take home after taxes about 60k, or $15,000 a quarter. to match XOM's generosity, you would have to dig deep into your pockets to the tune of about 13 dollars.
wal-mart earned about $3 billion last quarter, and has given around $20 million to katrina victims... that's about $107 to a guy making 100k/yr.
should i be impressed?
