 535i for MY2007?

It a hot topic about BMW's newly debuted 3L 302hp turbo engine. Will this engine also apply to 5 series under the moniker of 535i or what?

If so, how about the entire model line?
1) 525i (3L 215hp) + 530i (3L 255hp) + 535i (3L 302hp) + 550i (360hp) or
2) 528i (3L 235hp) + 535i (3L 302hp) + 550i (360hp)

Any clue? Same question for the next-gen X5.

Maybe for 2008 but definately NOT for 2007. You see, in an ususual move, BMW is releasing the MY2007 E60s starting in April this year.

Seriously, I cannot seem to get the 411.
My cousin works in the 4cyl building in München as the Intl Mini Marketing Dir.
My best friend in my CA here in the USA.
No one knows if a 535 will be avail in 2007 for the USA.
I am told the 335 is a shoe in for the new E90 coupé.

Heck, I'm just trying to get costs for a car that I am committed to picking up on 5.11!

I think that Agent99 gave you the 411 on the 535i for MY2007. It's too close to MY2007 introduction at this time. Nothing is 100% certain, but a major change this close to the MY introduction would be out of character for this company.

Your question was "in" 2007. If BMW introduces a 535i for MY2008, it would become available during the calendar year 2007, that is, "in" 2007 but as a MY2008.

I was not aware if Agent99 was a definitive source or another speculator.

The odd thing is that IMHO there does not seem to be that much of price gap between a well equipped 530 and 550.

Possibly drop the 525.
Lower the price on the 530, then offer 530, 535, 550?

I thought there was about a $10,000 difference for the v8?
