 Dealer only settings

I've read a few items here and there about settings that can be changed by the dealer.

Here are a few, from memory:

1) In M (manual) mode, the shifts can be set to be quicker/firmer.

2) Door locks can be changed to eliminate the "double pull" to unlock.

There are others, I just can't think of them off the top of my head. I would sure like to know more about some of these dealer only available settings.

Anything else to add to this list?

If you have idrive, you can set the "double pull" exit to either be active or inactive.

I see how to set the auto-lock when moving, but not the "double pull" disengage. Can you guide me to it?

In Europe you can both open and close all windows and the sunroof by pressing the button on the key. In the US, the close option is disabled for liability reasons, but I've heard it can be set by the dealer. Doubt you'll have any luck getting a dealer here in the states to do it though.

And w/ you SB, I've never seen an option in the iDrive to turn on or off the double pull feature.

Is this for the Steptronic or the SMG? I'm guessing it is for the Steptronic because the SMG does have a "Sport" setting that definately makes the shifts snappier/firmer/quicker.

Just making sure.
