Today I was informed by my parents that I am going to start to have to keep my car outside because my dad just bought a new car and understandably it is going to be the car taking up the spare space in our garage. I have been told if you don't keep your BMW garage kept, it will lose its clear coat and lose its shininess etc. So my question is what should I do to keep this from happening now that my car has to be kept outside always? My car is a titanium silver E46

Yes but those are a real pain in the neck to put on and take off every single day.

LOL yeah your right about that it is a pain in the as...butt! but other than that i dont really know unless you could build some sort of awning that you could drive uunder or something of the sort...

I guess the best I can do is to wash it often and keep it well waxed all the time; can't really think of anything else to do to protect the paint and clear coat.
