Nawab,
I hate to sound negative but I don't think you are going to have any luck finding anyone with that color scheme unless some of our international friends have had luck getting BMW to let them have the option to select any interior they want. If you are a BMWUSA customer, I don't think you have the flexability of selecting that particular interior color with the exterior color you want.

I am stationed in Germany and went directly to the factory to order my car and being that I wanted an American Spec car, I was limited to only what was offered to BMWUSA.

I believe you are wrong Big Al.

Just because the bmwusa website doesn't allow you to configure a color combination doesn't mean it's not available. According to the website, Silver Gray is not available with Auburn, but I was able to order one and it's already been built.

For the record (and I can only speak to US-bound BMWs), as long as the colors you want are available, you can order any combination you want. The trick is to convince your dealer to do it for you.

In California, that can be a difficult thing to do unless you have a good relationship with your dealer and you trust each other implicitly. You see, in CA, ordering a car is not a binding contract. Your money put down to order a car is 100% refundable. That puts the dealer in a tough spot should you decided that upon arrival of "your" car, you made a horrible mistake in color combos. Guess what?! Now your dealer is stuck trying to sell an oddball-colored car because you can simply refuse to purchase the car and at the same time get your money back!!

I dunno the laws in your state governing car orders but that is how it works in California. In fact, in order for me to order my rather odd combo (see sig for 2001 530i), I ended up ordering my car from a dealer in Oregon. He made me put down 10k NONREFUNDABLE (they can do that in Oregon I guess) to order the car. Needless to say, I purchased the car from him once it arrived and the colors were awesome...even my dealer, who was understandbly skeptical, thought it turned out sweet!
