Hello Just ordered a 2007 530xit in Black Sapphire with Auburn and Anthracite. Now the wife has concerns about the Auburn w/ Anthracite combo. Can anyone post some pics of this combo and the Auburn/poplar combo for comparison. I tried the search but couldn't find much. Thanks

I have a Grey w/ Anthracite coming in. Personally I like the Dark Poplar with Auburn but the anthracite may pick up the grey in the headliner which may look nice. I don't think you can go wrong either way. FYI: The pics on this site don't do the Auburn justice imo.

It is not really a good color combo, or color period, in the BMW line-up. Remember this is a color you will have to see ever day for how ever many years you own this car. Bmw seems to pick some weird shades when it comes to the auburn and beige colors for the leather, not exactly colors that go well with the other colors they incorporate. Remind your wife it isn't like a dress you wear every once in a while. I recommend black, or if she wants to be a little out of the norm gray.

I HAVE jet black, auburn, anthracite. I, and EVERYONE that has seen my car LOVES IT. Lets see, black is nice but VERY ordinary and no two tone color on door panel, gray is in no way out of the norm. I had it for three years and it looked way too boring. Also please remember ALL colors match with black

Black, grey, and sand are such boring interior colors. It is nice to have a two-tone color and something a bit different but, hey, each to his own. The auburn is something you need to see in person and judge with your own eyes.

Anthracite? You mean the "grey" wood color or metal look (standard)?
Persoanlly I think the auburn interior is such a unique look it would compliment any of the dash trims. What I like best about the auburn interior is it is the only one that comes with black accent trim - i.e. back of seats, doors, seat trim, rear parcel shelf, all black dash it's rather sporty I say....
