 Climate sticker on console

I've had my 550 for two weeks and love it -- not a single flaw (at 400 miles). I successfully removed the sticker and adhesive residue on the inside of the windshield above the steering wheel. Now I'd like to remove the small black sticker to the left of the iDrive control.

Has anyone done this? Do you know if it's safe to use a solvent such as Goof Off on the plasticy wood trim to get rid of the residue? Will there be sticker residue, or does it peel away clean? (Wishful thinking.)

Any suggestions from those who've already done this are appreciated. Thanks.

Mine just peeled right off. There was a slight residue--I used Goo Gone, followed by water to rinse.

You can also remove those ugly sun visor stickers--here's a post with instructions:

I used Goof Off, (with a Q-Tip) followed by a small amount of Pledge... to kill the smell of the Goof Off... worked perfectly.

BTW... that "plasticy wood trim" really is a wood venier (over plastic). When I took redelivery, my dash trim was slightly cracked..... I looked at it after they removed it... it is wood, (venier).

POST PICS!?!?!?!

That climate sticker is gone, with, remarkably, a Q-Tip and Goof Off. Piece of cake (just not ready to attack those visor stickers yet).

I've already posted pics -- about five I think, two days after I bought the car.

Here are three of those pics again (plus two of my cars that are "retired"):
