hey, looking at a 550 with 2k miles, loaded with auburn interior. What do you think of the color? if you have it can you post pics?

I don't know how to change a search into a link but search this forum for "Auburn." While there will be a lot of pictures available from that search, your best bet is probably to select the poll titled "Poll: Silver Grey or Monaco Blue? Auburn or Gray Interior?"
I posted in that thread about the interior of a car that I test drove and my pictures of it showed it to look gray inside, not black, but I've subsequently looked at the same car again and it is black--my pictures were goofy.
I just placed my order for a Monaco Blue 550i with Auburn interior for ED in May; needless to say, I think that it looks sharp! (As does the Boss, who has impeccable taste and good color sense, unlike Yours Truly)
Are we related???

monaco blue is a really nice color however, i hear dark blue is even more challenging to keep clean that black. why? i dont know that is just what i heard. that said, monaco is a nicer color than the former orient blue. as for auburn, i have not seen it in person but from what i gather i dont like it i can say that the bmw grey interior is awful. it is a bluish grey and is very ugly in my opinion.
