I'm about to pull the trigger on 2006 530i
Options are:
6spd manual
SP package
Premium Package
Blue Tooth
M-Aero kit
Titanium Gray/ Black
Logic 7 audio
CW package
Car has only 700 miles on it and its practicaly brand new
no buy back or any other damages
Price is $48K
Now lease is for 36 months
15K miles per year
with $3800 taxes and other fees included in that amount
$600 a month
Is this a good deal? Since it's my first time lease experience I thought I'd ask experts.
My current ride is 03 330i ZHP with 20K miles and I can pull some money out of that by selling it for downpayment and home improvement.
So gaining point is money I could use and bigger car but obviously bigger car payments $340(OWN) vs $600(lease, no worries about maintanence and service).
I drove that car and it was pleasure to drive, I've been drooling over that E60 body since it came out and always wanted a bigger car. So my question is this a good deal for lease of such a vehicle.

What is the MF and Residual on the lease?
FYI, on a ED 545i with MF 0.0013 and 61% Residual, I was paying, with 8.25% tax on ~60k cap cost, a total of $716/month.

I drove it last night back home
the #'s are 0.0019 with 60% residuals and 5% tax price negotiated for $47600
with $2400 down and $630 a month 36 months 15k miles per year. Happy and cant get enough of that car but it feels kinda weird though since all of my previous cars were "mine"
and I sold them after using 3 years max so this time thought it would be resonable to lease more expensive car and paying less. Hope that for 3 years it'll be a great experience. Will post some pics ASAP she's a beauty.

Did they tell you why it had 700 miles on it? Congrats on the car, E60's rule!

Yeah the guy who bought it drove it for a month then changed his mind to upgrade to 550i.
I've checked the history of the car and it's clean no issues and no buyback. Truly amazing car for awesome price.

Is it as simple as negotiating the best ED price you can, then taking that price and applying it to the best BMWNA lease deal you can negotiate???
