Hi: Just picked up my new 2006 550i in Munich. Wanted to post some pictures of the car and factory. But the pictures were to large for the website.The pickup was great. The staff is high class. A man named Dieter took care of everything. He has worked at BMW for 27 years. A great way to buy a car. Now off to Stuttgart, Nuremberg, Liepzig, Berlin, Rensburg and Bruseels in 3 weeks. So far: Sunny and no snow or rain. Once I shrink the pictures I will post them. ED in winter is great and very easy. Love the 550 in Munich.. TMS550i   |

Leasing is working well for me, but taking ED really calls out to me. Perhaps sometime in 2007 I can make that happen!

TMS550i | Enjoy your time there..... savor it...and the bier... drive the autobahn as much as you can... you can't drive like that here and your time will fly by...... congrats on your car.

Just a silly question:
In my new 550 with now 500 miles in cold Germany, is there any problem going 90-120 mph? Of course, I warm up the engine first
Should I be worried about not letting the engine break in?
Its very hard to control the speed on these roads and the car just handles like a dream.. any advice for the long haul would be appreciated
