Has anyone done this upgrade to their E60? I hear it is good to get at least a 1,000 watt amp and a single 12 inch woofer to put in trunk since this trunk is really sealed well and it's harder to feel base from a box in the trunk unless you have the fold down rear seats.

I have Logic 7 and want to upgrade to alittle more bass and volume... any tips?

I'm thinking that if you merely put a subwoofer in the trunk, and have somewhat of a discerning ear, you're going to be unhappy with the time delay between the higher frequencies from the in-dash and in-door speakers, the bass from the existing woofers, and the bass from that woofer in the trunk. Additional components and tuning will be required.
I've heard systems where that is an issue, and I don't know how people can listen to that delay day in and day out. It bugs the HECK out of me. (The first audio system I put in an old Honda years ago did this; I learned the hard way.) But I also walk around the office and see people who are happy to stare at a crt monitor flickering away with a 60hz refresh rate.
