I Have An E60 With 20" Hartge Nova 7. I Have Had Issues With My Car Since I Had Bought It. Everything From Cup Holders, Ac, Headrests, To Steering Rack Being Replaced 3 Times. Last Time I Brought My Car In They Had To Replace The Steering Rack For The Third Time Because My Active Steering Sensor Kept On Coming On. When I Got My Car Back, I Noticed The Steering Was A Little Loose But I Thought It Was Just Me Because I Just Got Through Driving An X5 That They Gave Me As A Loaner. Basically My Car Felt Like It Was Skipping Everytime I Would Hit A Little Bump On The Road. This Became Even More Apparent During The Rainy Weather We Just Had During The Holidays. It Was Basically The Worst Experience I Have Ever Had Driving Any Car. I Didn't Even Feel Safe Driving It At 40mph On The Freeway. I Finally Brought It In To The Dealer And Even Rode In The Car While The Tech Drove It. A Day Later My Service Advisor Calls Me And Says My Rims Are The Issue. They Replaced My Rims With Stocks And It Drove Like Night And Day. I Asked If My Rims Were Bent And If The Tread Is Worn Out On The Tires And They Said No. I Have Driven On That Set Of Rims And Tires For About A Good 8,000 Miles Now And I Have Had No Issues With Them Other Than My Gas Mileage Going Down A Little. I Guess It's Safe To Say That My Service Adv. Is Telling Me That Aftermarket Wheels On A Bmw Is Not Safe To Drive At All. Wow, Do I Have A Score To Settle W/ All These Aftermarket Companies. Such B.s.

That's what you get for being stupid enough to put 20" rims on the car.

It sounds like you're blaming BMW because you put 20 inch rims on your car and caused steering rack and handling problems. I think almost anybody who reads your post on this forum will recognize that was the problem before they get halfway through it. I'm only surprised your dealer didn't tell you this after he replaced the steering rack the first time.

I agree with the other posters. Why put 20 inch wheels on the car? In addition to them be 20 inchers, I bet you didn't even check to make sure the offset was correct. If you want 20 inch wheels, stick to an Escalade.
