Aftermarket Satellite Radio

Does anyone know if Satellite radio can be added aftermarket? I have a 2004 530i.

I bought a XM but it uses the lighter for power supply and you neet to tune your radio to certain FM channel to receive the XM program.

Not sure if you were asking about incorporating the Sat radio in the stock radio.
