I just bought a new 2005 545i. Its awesome in everyway, except it did not come equipped with navigation. Is there a way for me to have the dealer add this for a reasonable price?

Is there a way for me to have the dealer add this for a reasonable price? | I don't believe you can easily/cheaply add the OE NAV (perhaps 2x the cost of the original option), but there are various aftermarket units you could consider. Shop around, they differ greatly in appearance, useability, features, and cost.

go with the after market units, their better and offer more feathures. i have both and would not get the nav again.

Or are you unhappy with the iDrive nav system specifically? The BMW nav is the first in-car system I've used and I think its amazing - and surprisingly accurate (with small roads listed that I couldn't believe made it to the dvd.)
