As far as i know premium package consists of teh following:
Leather
Garage door opener
self dimming mirror
Correct me if i missed something.
If i have no use for the garage door opener isnt more worth it to just add on leather seat for $1,450??'

Actually, there are several red LED lights throughout the car that provide "ambient" light when the headlights are turned on. The ones I know about are
2 by the sunroof control
2 by the rear light control
4 inside each door pockets
might be more...
These lights are pretty much invisible unless you cross their paths. They are somewhat useful in case you want to access the controls or get stuff from the door pockets, and make things a tiny bit more visible in the car at night, especially for black leather.
