So does anyone understand if this is just a European market only program or does it include North America? I've got a 530i on order, and would love to get another $3,600 for trading in my used up Benz

Yes but this may give extra incentive for the dealers to "deal." I sure hope so for those of you with cars on order or those just considering the 5-series.

That was just one dealer, other dealers could pass it on but $3600 more profit gives them alot of incentive to sell the car so Im sure just to sell they may pass some of it on to customers, if its not selling up to expectations now, w/o any incentives to the customer how could they increase sales. Incentives always gets customers in showrooms IMO.

Munich. BMW dealers will get bonuses of up to 3,000 euros, or about $3,600 at current exchange rates, if they can find customers for the slow-selling 5 series. Bonuses of up to 1,500 euros, or about $1,800, will be given for other BMW models.

Is the 5 Series really "SLOW" selling as he states in his article...?

With all these 5 Series on the streets, I really doubt it!

I'll use this on my dealer when I place the order for Euro Delivery of the 2007 550i (hopefully they will get the minor update to the bumpers and lights) and see if they will pass me the savings.

I wonder if it's possible to get European Delivery Wholesale Invoice Price - $3600 Incentive from my dealer...
