I was at the dealer today and was playing around w/ their idrive simulator. One annoying quirk I noticed is that if you go to "entertainment" and are in FM, AM, CD etc-- there's an option called "SET". If you click on it, you can select "tone" (and 2 others I can't remeber) and are then taken to another screen where you can chaneg the bass and treble. But, from this other screen, there didn't seem to be a way to go back to where you were on the original entertainment screen! Is this really the case, or am I missing something. The only way back was to press the "menu button" and then go back to entertainment from the main menu-- which seems kind of silly.

If I remember correctly, I must set the treble/bass/logic7 settings from the "i" menu, and I can't set them from the entertainment menu.

Correct. If you want to get back to any of the menus, hold the controller up/down/left/right, for two seconds and it will take you back where you were.
i.e. Entertainment is "right" at the main menu, so hold the controller 2 seconds to the right.
It lets you set tones for CD/Radio etc. as a shortcut to the main stereo config menu.

Also, the iDrive simulators at the dealer are way out of date.
