 550i with New 19" Wheels & Tires

Here are photos of my 2006 550i with new wheels and tires installed yesterday. The wheels are BMW Style 125 for E60

Front - 8" x 19" ET: 20 BMW P/N 36-11-6-761-998
Rear - 9.5" x 19" ET:32 BMW P/N 36-11-6-761-999
These wheels are made for BMW by Borbet. These wheel/tire combinations save 12 pounds per wheel/tire at front and 9.5 pounds per wheel/tire at rear for a total savings of 43 pounds of unsprung weight. This is over OEM 8" x 18" front and 9" x 18 " rear Style 124 wheels with Bridgestone run-flat tires.

Tires are Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 245/35 YR 19 Front & 275/30 YR 19 Rear.

The ride seems in the short distance I have ridden to be no worse than with 18" run-flats, and perhaps better.

Nice... did you buy them from your dealer?

Cost was $2003.09 for wheels and valve stems from dealer, $1,403.00 for tires mounted and balanced from America's Tire in Ventura, CA. They were cheaper than BMW dealer and a bit cheaper than buying from Tire Rack and having them mounted and balanced at dealer. The center caps are the same size as ones on my original Style 124 wheels, so I used them on these wheels. I mounted the wheels/tires on my car myself. Can't let the tire company have all the fun.

I had only 475 miles on the run-flats and the Style 124 wheels that were on my car when I purchased it new. Anyone interested in these, please PM me.
