Well, the quality of these pics isn't the best. The lighting was terrible, and so was the background. I hate to admit it, but I like the M Aero kit on the 550 better than the front of the M5. My wife finds this very amusing

Very nice.

Although I think I'd replace the M3 with an Elise if I had an M5 in the garage.

I agree that the front of the 550 looks better than the M5. I think it is because of the fog lights. Either way, you have the best of both worlds.

What kind of tranny is in the 550?

It is an SMG. I really do not like the SMG that is in the non-M cars. The push/pull operation of the levers is confusing after getting out of my car. I always upshift instead of downshift

Why doesn't the M5 have fog lights? I think that the 550i front end looks better with the foglights and the larger center opening. I think that the 550i looks a lot more agressive. I have riden in the 550i and it is a rocket ship. Awesome
