Just got my car back from service and during the process they installed CIP 20. I was mostly curious to see if the perspective view was there in NAV. It is..... my question is....
Is there an instruction manual available (download?) so that a person can understand all the new features?

Is there an instruction manual available (download?) so that a person can understand all the new features? | Perspective for NAV has been available since CIP 16 or so (March 2005 anyway). I can't look at the moment but it's possible the latest online 5-series owner's manual includes the additional functionality. That version is a March 2005 one (yes, not as up to date as the paper manuals). The online manuals are available from the BMW Owner's Circle and are posted on e60.net.

Is there an instruction manual available (download?) so that a person can understand all the new features? | Could you post screenshots of your Nav? I have been trying to figure out if CIP 20 has the new, more attractive "anti-aliased" look that my v26 MkIV Nav System (04 330Ci) had. I have CIP 19, currently.

-jd | I can take some photos tonight... are you mostly concerned with "birds-eye" view (perspective) or map view as well?
ALSO... I can't remember whether my original old CIP version (car build date = 1/2005) gave you the ability to "edit" an address. CIP 20 does. Maybe I just never scrolled down far enough.
Does anyone know if you can or if there are plans to be able to save an address with a name, like "Bob's House" rather than scroll through the long list of addresses and try to recognize the one you're after?

-jd | What do you mean by "Anti-aliased"? You seem to be the only one that cares about this.
