My only complaint in my 06 530 is that the volume control button on the steering wheel is rattling like crazy over bumps etc. I posted this here because at e60.net some people have the same problem and no one has had a fix without going to the dealer. When I apply pressure to the button the rattle will stop.  Should I go to the dealer for such a little thing? |

Patience...and, no, my volume button is fine. Just go to the dealer...all covered.

I might make mention of it at my next service but frankly the door creaking is way more irritating, and needs fixing.

yeah... i got the perfect fix... all you need is a pair of pliers, a set of ratchets and a pack of very sticky bubble gum (crazy-glue will do)...
come on dude... you bought a new BMW... bring it to the dealer and bitch 'em out... they'll fix it while you wait!
