I do not currently own a BMW since my employer insist that the company car be U.S. made. I did drive a 540 for e few months several years back and I am now considering doing ED on a 530i late spring/summer.

I see all the advertising of free maintenance for 4/50000, which of course is great. But I expect to keep this car for longer than that, so I am interested in the maintenance schedule as recommended by BMW and presumably shown in the manual. Besides tire rotation, air filter, oil changes and routine inspections, what other services are officially recommended for the first 150.000 miles?
