ALL, I have been reading all the information that you guys and gals have been postining on this webpage and decided to go out and order me a Bimmer.  I just wanted to know if there was anything special I need to know when I pick up the car? I know it is a ways off but you can never start to early. Just so everyone knows, I ordered the 2007 550, Titanium Silver with Grey Interior, Steptronic with the Cold Weather Package, Sound Package, Sport Package, Comfort Seats, Comfort Access, Rear Sunshades, Folddown Rear Seats, Nav System, and Heated Front and Rear Seats. Just reading about the joy you guy have experienced with your Bimmers motivated me to join the family. I look forward to conversing with everyone in the future. ??? where did u order a 07 550 from i thought it was like 06 550 , or was that a miss type? and can u order them now i mean the 07 models? um . . . i think titanium gray metallic looks good but watever floats your boat

Garo666 it is not a type o, I ordered the car through the military sales program when I was in Germany. Its a program that helps military members get factory direct prices for the car and cut through a lot of red tape. I am deployed now but the car should be waiting for me once I return in the fall of 2006. By the way, has anyone had any of the tire problems with the 550 like the problems the 545 was having? If so, are the dealers still assisting with the problem?

When you order through the diplomatic and military sales program, do you get any discounts beyond the lowered prices already offered by BMW? When we do European delivery, which is similar to military pricing, we can haggle below those already reduced prices making for an even better deal.

When you consider the fact ED includes shipping and full BMWNA 4 yrs Warranty and Serivice, ED is clearly a better deal.

Diplomatic and Military sales don't qualify for the rebate.
