I've been looking at the options for the 525xi / 530xi. The sport package on the xi's don't have ARS or sport suspension... so it's just different seats, exterior trim and performance tires (that are not recommended in snow).
I'm thinking it's better to get comfort seats than sport pkg w/ sport seats on the xi's since you don't really get any real performance improvement in the handling - all those additions are not available! Does everyone generally agree?
Why is that? I'd like to get x-drive since I live in the northeast, but then can't get ARS, Active steering, sport suspension, etc. It's a big trade off!

I highly recommend the comfort seats. And, if you do the research, you'll find those are the only seats that manage a decent crash test rating. All the other seat types have the head rest too far back; the comfort seats "active head restraint" function solves the problem.

Are you sure the Sport Package on the Xi includes performance tires? From what I read it only included the seats and trim.
