RAZR Question re:/2006 E60 BT
I just picked up my 2006 530 yesterday. I then got my Razr to pair with no problem whatsoever. However, there's one thing I haven't quite figured out yet, and I'm guessing that it might be a phone setting I've overlooked.
When there's an incoming call, the call displays on the BMWs screen with the "Accept or Reject" options. However, the E60 BT system automatically answers the call without giving me the option to "Accept or Reject". It quickly shows the "Accept or Reject" but then connects immediately.
Is this a phone setting or a car setting. I tried pairing my phone with a 3 series BT system, and it paired fine, but the same characteristic -- the BT system connects the call as soon as the phone rings.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Thanks | Ron, You need to turn the Car Settings Auto Answer off in your Razr Menu > Settings > Car Settings > Auto Answer > Off
note: There is another answer option on the In-Call Setup Menu which relates to the phone being used outside of the Bluetooth...changing it will not correct the issue you described.

That's it. The default was 2 seconds, and I changed it to off, and now it works exactly as I had expected it to. There's just so many setting possibilities, that one can go a little nuts trying to figure out exactly what's needed.
Thanks alot.
