Except it was my brain, not the car. I get in my car this afternoon after going into the bank and start to drive away...wait a minute...why is there rap music on my radio...I thought I had a CD playing...and why is the seat position so different, and the mirrors are all out of kilter, the nav screen set up has changed...these all seem like defaults...WTF is wrong with the car!!! All the way home I'm fuming...all the presets are gone, the seat will take another week worth of trying to find the comfortable position...and worst of all, I need to go back to the dealer after only a week and a half to have a major electrical glitch repaired...

Still fuming as I get home and head to the door...wait a minute, my house keys are gone...am I on drugs? No, I realize, just stupid...I grabbed the spare/second key that was still in my coat pocket from when I picked up the car and used that. Didn’t even know the car came with the option that has the settings coded with the key. I go back to the car, use the right key...BINGO, everything is as it should be...DUH!!!! Now, the sales guys took a long time to explain the car to me and do the initial set-up in detail, so I can only presume he told me about this and I was lost in the awe of having the new car...
