I had my tires checked out by my local BMW dealership a couple of weeks ago because three of them were repeatedly losing air ( FTM correctly going off ). Now in the past three days this has happened twice. My dealership says that its the weather changes do this but what I don't understand is why does the weather only affect 3 tires.
Tires lose about 10-15 psi.
This is getting very upsetting. I can't leave my clinic every other day to have this thing looked at. I was thinking of getting my wife a new X5 but now I am really double minded. A couple of my friends who were thimking of buying a BMW are not looking at this favorably.
I'm sorry I'm whinning but what else can I do.

As a rule of thumb, tire pressure will change about 1 psi/10 degrees F temp change. So, unless your temp has changed 100 degrees, I would not expect the tire pressure to change by 10 psi. It is hard to believe that you have a puncture in three of the tires but you could. Keep in mind that if you check the pressure in your tires after they have been driven, the pressure will increase 3-4 psi over the "cold" pressure, which is when you are supposed to check tires. It is best to check the pressure first thing in the morning after the car has been sitting all night.

Faulty valve stems...?

How fast do the tires lose 10-15 psi? I think your best course of action is to take it to a tire shop the first morning you can and explain the problem. Have them check the rims to make sure they are round and defect free. And have them check the valve stems. They will be able to diagnose the problem for you. If the tires are faulty - BMW will replace them. I'd do it asap.
Also - it looks like your a doc in Pine Bluff. Do you know the Jacks brothers (urologists)?

Yes, I know the Jack brothers very well. Whenever, I need a urology consult, inevitably it goes to one of them.
