I note that some photos of the e60 dash now show no cubby storage above the ashtray in the center console. Most recently the pix of MSBUC's interior. Is this the current design or does the cubby disappear when you have Nav or some other option?

My recent 06 530xi doesn't have one either, but it has the nav and that's why I thought it didn't have the cubby...wish it did...I've been putting my sunglasses in the little step-up on the right-hand side of the driver's door slots.
