Tire Chains
I would like to purchase tire chains to fit my 2006 530i with show tires (225/55R16 95H). Any recommendations on makes, models and vendors to consider? Ease of installation is as much of a consideration as price.

I just got a sent of cable chians from:

I got the Z set for $62, not the basic "ladder" set for $32. I have used sets similar to the basic type in the past without any problems.
Their service was prompt, and the chains look better quality that I have purchased in the past. I just chose them from an internet search. J.C. Whitney had the same brand (SCC) at a higher price.
I havn't used them yet so I don't have any experience with mounting or using them.
I have used chains and cable chains for 30 years and I have not found a set that was easy to mount. Some are such a pain that I would take the wheels off and mount the cabel/chains on the wheel while it was off the car.
