anyone know how the e61 is selling? i have only seen one other in portland..

Year to date over 1,800.
Total so far is more than the total sold for MY 2003 of E39s Touring.
xiT with 530 engine seems to be more popular than the old E39 Touring.

I have yet to see another one on the road and that includes two trips into Chicago with the third one coming up today. It's pretty cool when people walk up and ask you what kind of car it is and tell you that they've never seen one before.
We remain a nation of SUV buyers although from what I've read recently, that may be slowly changing. More "crossover" and wagon choices may ultimately lead to the demise of the large truck-based, gas-sucking SUV.
