New to the Forum, about to buy 530xit
Hey guys, about to buy a new 530xit with premi, cold weather, navigation and park assist.....dealer is giving about 3500 off msrp... what do you guys think? good deal...the mspr is about 58.....
anyone also have an comments on the wagon?? i want to hear the good, the bad and the ugly!!!

thanks | Mine listed for $56,300 and I got it for $50,800 which was $1k under invoice. Without looking up prices, I'd say you're paying approximately $1500 over invoice which isn't bad. A lot depends on how many your dealer has on hand and how well he's moved them. Mine had four and sat on them for a couple of months before he ran the special.
I absolutely love the car. Good amount of cargo space and still handles like a 5 Series. Up to now, I'd say it's the best car I've ever owned in all respects. Good luck.
| | Reply » New to the Forum, about to buy 530xit | I am currently thinking of going from an 04 E60 to an 06 E61 Msport. Having had an E39 touring before my current car, I can tell you that the touring verisons are great cars. More room than an SUV with the handling of a sedan.
Have you looked at the sport package? Ride is firmer and seats are more comfortable IMO.
I cannot comment on pricing, CDN vs US but it appears you are getting a reasonable deal.

I cannot comment on pricing, CDN vs US but it appears you are getting a reasonable deal. | 530xiT Sport Package is purely cosmetic and includes no suspension changes (at least in the US). No sport suspension changes on AWD vehicles plus the rear is a self-leveling air suspension. Wheels will be 18's instead of 17's and tires will be RFT's if I'm not mistaken.
