My dealer had to make a dealer trade to get my car. Unfortunately the dealer that originally had my car in inventory installed the front license plate which means my front bumper has two drilled holes in it where the license plateis attached  . Does anyone know or want to estimate how much it will cost to fill in these holes and repair the bumper? I can't stand the front plate any longer... |

Are you ok with using bumper plugs (http://www.bumperplugs.com) ?
They are about $25.
Sorry I don't know how much it is to fill in the hole and repair.

Been a while, but I had a nasty curb rash on the lower part of my bumper. Got a quote from the dealer for replacement and the "bumpder cover" as it is called was roughly $200-$250, primed but unpainted. Add another $200-$300 for paint and install, so ballpark $500-$600. Keep in mind that was from my dealer in New Orleans. California prices are going to be higher as you well know...

I always felt my 1998 528i was the best all around car I'd ever owned so with growing boys and the need for more space I naturally looked at the 5-series, Merc E-class, Lexus GS and Infiniti M class. All are great cars and Lexus is arguably the best built but I've grown so used to that feel (call it x-factor) that the BMWs have that all the other cars just felt boring to drive though the M35 sports package is getting closer. Driven aggressively on back roads like I like to do on the weekends the 5-series with sports package just leaves the competition in the dust IMO. I love the car. It's the perfect blend of ride, comfort and performance IMO. Well, the 362hp 550i has the obvious performance edge but it wasn't worth $10k+ more to me. After owning the two M3s I just felt I was over the gobs of power thing and so far I know I made the best choice for me in the 530i.

I can't stand the front plate any longer... | I paid $150 to a shop to fix to license plates holes on my 04 325cia, best shop Ive ever seen but he is in East Tennessee, hope the quote helps!
