I have a 2006 bmw 325 sport,and i love it.My brother is looking for a mid size sports sedan.He is maxed out at close to $46,000.He has been looking at bmw 525,lexus gs300,and infiniti m35x.He has ruled out lexus(to boring).Likes the awd on the m35(the awd also tightens up the suspension,taughter than std m35,less than m35 sport.)More power on the m35,and a few more electronics(not to much more,its not to much above base)Probably can get offf aprx $2,000 off on each.So the infiniti is only about $700 less.Wondering if any 525 drivers out there ,were,also considering m35,before buying the 5 series.I would think it would be easy,if he could go upto the 530,but he can't.My brother really likes my bmw,it rides great,and he really likes the suspension.But needs more room.I have been really talking up bmw to him,told him with a set of winter tires,you will have no problem in winter.The cost of the tires,pays for them selves,because it saves on the summer tires.He likes my nokian wrs,they ride really well,for winter setup.Just wondering if you guys have any,insight on the 5 series.Also,just wondering,how many,5 series drivers,have manual transmissions.I know,alot of 3 series drivers do.I know,my brother would rather have manual transmission,but is not sure about resale on the 5 series,without auto.
