Hi:
Just ordered my new 550 for European Delivery for Jan 2006.
Got a black sapphire 550 with: sport, nav, active steering, comfort access, sat radio, prem sound, head up and M aero package installed in Germany ($4K) for 65,000.
I had a hard time negotiating on the Aero Kit installation cost.
I had 3 dealers bidding on it. I think 65K is 3 K below USA wholesale.
I can't wait to see it in Germany

Took out the aero package. Got the car for 61K
I will get the aero package for 2500 through my BMW body shop.
I think this is a great ED price. About 900 over ED wholesale.

I own several BMWs but have never done a ED before. I am curious as to the base cost of the 550i you received. ED delivery is $53,580 and dealer cost for the ED is $48,575. Are you saying you puchased this vehicle for 48575+900? I am wondering if a dealer will negotiate a price somewhere in the middle of $53,580 and $48,575? I live in the Detroit area, they are not dealing here. Which dealer did you use.

Thanks, | I live in the detroit area and used a dealer, Yark BMW in Toledo for my ED. Just a 45 minute drive. I paid $1500 over ED invoice.

With all options my ED wholesale was 60, 100. I got 7 options.
I got my car for near 61 K.
900 over wholesale is I think fair.
I did the whole deal in 46 minutes. Not bad.
