debating to get a 550 or a 530..help

Well for reasons I can not disclouse here nor anywhere else I'm giving the option of getting a 530 or a 550 .... I'm scratching my head as the payments they quoted me are a bit high,wel compared to mine... so what do you guys think

550 msrp $65165
nav,sattelite,step,pdc,premium sound, power rear sunshade,SPP,black on black nothing down just 1st month and tag total payment excluding tax $938.31 with 12k a year for 36months (59% residual and 0.00260mf)
or
530 msrp $58890
nav,step,SPP,PP,power rear sunshade,psound,satellite,Active steering. $o down, 1st month and tags . total monthly payment excluding tax $732.10 with 12k a year for 36 monhts (62% residual and 0.00140mf)

I nned to choose a car on their lot before the end of the month now but I'm just curious if the rate for the 550 may drop. something like the rate of the 530..does anyone know? or just get it or wait let say until nov2 and have 3 days (here in florida you can cancel the contract within 3 days) and juggle to see if the rate changed...

tough call...the rates for the 550i will go down but I would expect it to happen near the end of the year to beginning of 2006.

Put it this way...I don't think there are many people regretting not getting the 530, but there are some that regret not getting the 545/550. I say go for the 550, but do Euro Delivery to get a better price.

I wouldn't count on the rates in 550 to go down. Fact is, the 530s are dime a dozen but not the 550. This is not a year ago where BMW trying ensure to move the 545 inventory and thus lowered the rates for the first time. The V8's are the hot item, and there will be no subsidized deal on the 550.

If you can afford the rates, take the 550i you won't regret it!!

Well, thanks for your input. Went ahead this weekend and gave a big kiss goodbye to my old E60 530

...
well have had my 550 for 2 days and all i can say is WAO

what a difference, in everything..even the seats fell softer and smoother....
