My Dealer confirmed via phone on 21 November that new E60's do NOT come with
a first aid kit nor the reflective emergency triangle (both my 2005 E60 came without either).
I was told these items only come in European delivery vehicles - is this correct?
Oh, and, when did this begin? I had a 2000 E39 and it came with both items?

They should come with the First Aid kit, and not the triangle.

Cheers! | My first 2 bimmers (1996 328 and 1999 528) came without BOTH.
It wasn't until I did the ED on my 545 that I got them...... and had to smuggle them out!

My '06 E61 came with first aid kit but no triangle.

Cheers! | Only cars delivered in Freimann come with the first aid kit and triangle. That has always been the case (at least for the pats 25 years). Cannot explain your 2000 E39 - except as an anomaly.

Cheers! | Cross posted in "General BMW". More responses there including part numbers. New US-spec E60s do come with a US version of the first aid kit. It will be in the tool tray in the trunk. Or it should be.
