Stuck Navigation screen
Got in my car today (2006 530xi) and started to drive and i look over to the idrive screen to set my destination, and the map is frozen. Not only is it frozen it is at the incorrect laction. I tried reseting the idrive, which didnt do anything, took out the dvd, no luck. I presses the sos button and they said the technical guys arnt there today, it sunday. Has anyone seen or heard of this problem? Ill probably have to take it in to the dealer, but I am looking for a fix if any one knows of one. Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance. | Wow, haven't heard of that one before- If it stays frozen even after you've left the car overnight, I would say the computer is bad and it'll need to be replaced.

Thanks in advance. | Seriously, pressing both eject buttons while pressing the mute button didn't force a reboot? Haven't seen that one.
