 Reprogramming Keys

REPROGRAMMING KEYS Neither of my keys works remotely and its not the batteries because 1 of them used to work, but because the settings were off I tried to reset it using the X5 World Reprogram Key Fob but instead wiped out the settings - is there a way short of the dealer to reprogram the keys so that doors are unlocked using the push buttons? thanks!!

Locate the master key and the secondary key. Get in your car with the doors and windows closed.

1. Insert the master key into ignition and turn to position 1
2. Turn the ignition back to 0 after about 3 seconds and remove the master key
3. With the master key, press and hold the UNlock button. Now press the lock roundel key three times (still holding the UNlock button)
4. After pressing the roundel 3 times, release the UNlock button
5. Doors should lock the unlock
6. Now with the secondary key, repeat steps 3-4. Doors should lock and unlock to let you know that they're reprogrammed.
