Hey guys, this is my first post here. I have been reading for a while, and am excited to post that my 550i just finished production today. It is mystic blue with auburn interior, cold weather package, sport package, SMG, and active steering. I will now join the ranks of the crazy people tracking a boat; I should find out the first part of next which ship it will be on.

 "blue baby" (so as called by my wife) was born on 11/10/2005. monaco blue/beige 530i, last status given was "waiting to be released to carrier".

Welcome to the club! Are these your first BMW's?
Just wondering: when did you two hit status 150? I was status 150 (and sat at 150 all this week) on November 3rd and was wondering when my car might actually get rhrough.

Yes, this is my first BMW. It hit status 150 on Nov. 2. It has been dispatched from AG (status 190). My dealer was amazed at how fast the car made it through production, since it was only ordered two weeks ago.

Just curious - did you get most of your status updates through the Owner's Circle pages, or did you just get them from your dealer?

I got all of my updates from my dealer. Owner's circle has just said it was in production, and still says that. I'm sure the dealer will be glad when I have the car, so I will stop bugging him for updates constantly.
