Understanding that it costs around $200 for a software upgrade... and also understanding that there are known issues that warrant the software upgrade (at no cost).... should we start a post (or sticky) explaining these?
Can anyone contribute known symptoms that were fixed (at no charge) by the software upgrade?

SOS malfunction-----CD skips 1 or 2 tracks when you shut off your car and start it up again---When you shut off your radio and start up your car again it comes on by itself. Dealer, JMK, upgraded the S/W no charge.

1) "High Battery Drain" warning on first startup each morning is gone.
2) "Lawyer screen" now disappears after 5-10 seconds.

Can anyone contribute known symptoms that were fixed (at no charge) by the software upgrade? | 1) Radio/CD comes back ON when I start the car. It was OFF before I shut down the car.
2) BT phone doesn't hang up when other party hang up.
3) iDrive frozen when starting the car. Need to restart the car to get it back.
4) iDrive back out for a few second ands comes back during driving.
5) Auto-headlight not working correctly.
....
These are my complains to get the SW upgrade for free + oil change and free wiper blades.
