Trunk mat suggestions (wagon)
Hello all -
I have recently taken delivery of a beautiful 2006 Monaco Blue/Auburn 530xit. I am in urgent need of a trunk mat solution to protect the boot from all of the various insults my kids can hurl at it. I have only been able to find the following BMW accessories. Can anyone comment on their usefulness or offer an alternate suggestion. I would like to get something like a rubber or plastic tray to protect against spills or snow melt.

Links don't work. RealOEM wants a car identified first apparently. I looked them up and I would suggest either the non-skid mat or the fitted mat, preference to the fitted mat as I suspect it looks more finished and seems to have a bit of a lip. Ideally it will have a fold crease so you can open up the underfloor storage compartment without having to lift the entire mat. I'm surprised that there isn't one of those shallow fitted trays as well although I don't care for them because they make opening the compartment difficult.
