BMW Assist: Convenience Plan - $120/year

Anyone here have the BMW Assist with Convenience Plan. It costs $120 per year and gives you Concierge for travel arrangements, service referrals, shopping, entertainment, business trips and much more.

Any opinions on it?

I'd be kind of curious what kind of travel arrangements they might offer while I'm drivng my car. Shopping and entertainment? Doesn't Yahoo provide that?

Sounds a bit like OnStar.

Unless I am misreading my contract and the booklet I just got, concierge service and travel arrangements, etc. cost an extra $4.95 per call; they are not included in the yearly subscription (which BMW gives you free for the first year).
Am I wrong?

I just picked up my 05 645, the dealer gave me 1 year free BMW Assist, after one year it is $20 per month.

The convenience plan is only for 90 days, the long term cost was just a flat monthly fee of $20.

I think you can call concierge service and pay the $4.95 per call. But frankly, all credit card companies will do this for you anyway.

For what it's worth, I called to activate BMW Assist by pushing the SOS button and the guy who explained the service to me said traffic and directions were $4.95 per call, but that other services (movie times/tickets, dinner reservations, etc.) were no charge.
