Will a dealer inspection show up on service records?
I have a buyer for my 325i and they asked if I could bring it to their dealership to get it checked out. There is nothing wrong with the car, but in the event that they do find something serious I don't want a record of it tied to the VIN number of the car in the bmw system. Does anyone know if an inspection like this is recorded on the service history of the car????? THANKS

If their dealer is a BMW dealer I am sure that the service advisor will run a "Vehicle History Report". That report will come from the BMW central computer system and will show the service advisor all the warranty work performed on the car and paid for by BMW NA. It will not show any work performed by your dealer and paid for by you.
The only way that anyone can get a record of the inspection is to go to the dealer that performed the inspection.
