Where is the engine temp guage in the '06 530i?

There is no temp gage. If there is a problem with the engine temp, it will display as a check control message in your iDrive and on the multifunction display on the dash.

I miss the temp guage I had in my M3. It's also weird checking the oil level on iDrive.

Aren't the 'White Lines' around the RPM display the 'new' engine temp guage?
