I remember reading something that entering navigation destinations can be shortcut by entering the zipcode first, then city, street, etc. That doesn't seem to be the way mine works. I did a search on the forum and came up with nothing. Did I imagine this?
I have a July 05 build 530 XiT with Professional Nav. I don't know my CIP but do know that my LEDs work and I have perspective view.
Thanks,

If I recall properly, you can enter the zip code in the city field. Its kind of funky because if you scroll right through the alaphbet at the very end you'll have some number that you can select. I say its funky because based on what state you live in it provides the high level digits automatically. For instance, I'm in Virginia and it automatically provides the high end digit 2 (as in 2xxxx). In order to get a different high end digit, you have to enter a different state, i.e. Connecticut would give you a 1xxxx entry capability.
My salesman didn't believe me when I picked up the car, so I showed him. He was floored.
This link touches on it, its from Rudy: http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=8177&hl=
