I've seen some posts where people replace the dark rear reflector with the european red rear reflector. http://www.bekkers.com/Merchant2/me..._Code=631503504 I see that the current E60 now seem to have the body colored piece instead of the dark reflector. How do people think about these, would you still replace them with the red reflector?

I replaced them simply because the rear red reflectors provide another set of reflectors for other drivers behind you to see. And they do kind of look cool....

Looks MUCH better with the red reflector. If you notice, that rear bumper (bangle butt) is a pretty massive piece of body-colored panel and the red reflectors serves to break it up just a bit to match better with the tail lights.

Any pictures with reds on the butt? Especially if the car is white?
