HELP NEEDED: NAV. system difference between 530i '04 &'05 ?
i have a 2004 530i and the my firends got '05 530i couple of months ago. we went out one day and i noticed that his Center screen is a bit larger than my '04. and that his NAV comes with a map compared to the voice plus arrows currently installed on mine.
my questions are though.. is this a software upgrade or do i have to change the whole center screen to get the same NAV system as his.
secondly, is the screen replacable at all ? and how much does it cost?
finally does this name "Titan II" mean anything when to the installed screens in the 5-seires
enlighten me guys.

There is a business and a professional NAV system for non North American E60's. The business NAV has the smaller screen and only shows directions. The Pro NAV has the larger split screen with a map. I don't know if you can upgrade from one to the other, but I am guessing BMW won't make it cheap to do so anyway. Hope this helps!
